So I’m already running a project called “different view” which involves my 50mm 1.8, well I’ve decided to start another project called project stoneworks (yes I like giving them names).
Basically its based on the photo above which I recently took in Tramore, I really like the detail on the stonework in this shot so I’m planning on doing something similar with other old buildings and fixtures.

After watching the weather forecast last night and seeing that it was supposed to be sunny I decided I’d get up nice and early and goto Tramore, Co Waterford so I could get some shots of the sunrise from the beach.
Well this is what I was greeted with, far from a sunrise…still none the less I got some lovely shots.
I’m still happy despite the bad weather…

Very creative and funny stuff, well worth a read.
Another shot from my visit to Tramore last weekend, they day turned out well but I’m abit behind my photo processing so I’m going to play catchup over the next few weeks…I’m also changing my file structure for storing my stuff.
So with luck this weekend I;m off to the boards.ie photo meet up near Dublin, should be a interesting weekend, I’ll post what I got later next week 
So I was out walking in Tramore, Co Waterford yesterday for the day, lovely day out and brought the camera to see if I could get any nice shots.
I’ve taken a few, must of which I haven’t processed yet but I did process this one as part of my different view project.

I reported back in December that I had started my different view project but that my Canon 50mm 1.8 had started to stick and lock, well things went from bad to worse…..its completely dead now.
I brought it into town about two weeks ago and went to take a photo and noticed it wasn’t focusing correctly, on closer inspection the focusing ring had come apart from the rest of the lens, further inspection showed that the data cable connection that connected the motor in the lens to the contact points was damaged.
I’ve since bought myself a new nifty fifty from digitalrev on ebay and all is well once more…it only cost me 60e
Yep, it seems that a third undersea cable to asia has been cut and Iran is off the net.

Only kidding…no actually it is.
Its all very strange, how could anchors cut three cables in as many days?
So, one day you decided to host your website with letshost.ie, all is well although your not happy because you find your site is slow so you find yourself unhappy with your webhost.
So as your unhappy when somebody asks for a suggestion for a webhost you say the following on boards.ie, bearing in mind your post is anonymous except for your site listed in your sig:
Don’t go with letshost.ie if the performance of your website is important to you. Their servers are US based and it is my experience that performance can be very sluggish.
After posting such comments you receive a phone call from letshost.ie in relation to your thread on boards.ie, later on you find your website is suspended and worse still when you query this with letshost.ie you get the following:
