Well Internet Explorer 6.0 is out as of yesterday and as I’m not exactly a fan of Internet Exploiter its good to see its getting bad ratings on download.com (only 63% infavor).
At this point I’d like to just say as bad as people say Netscape is, atleast Netscape 6.1 has a 79% rating. The browser war is’ent over yet 
Its been awhile since I last updated the site, and since its been a while since my last wallpaper change I’ve changed it once again (going to change it on a weekly basis now if I can)
I’ve fully switched over to Netscape 6.1 and its fairly good, infact it has’ent crashed once so far.
I plan on slightly changing the layout of this page, I’m going to add a Rants section instead of the General info box as I feel it will give people something to read when they come here besides just finding some nice desktop wallpaper and finding out where they can get a copy of it
Chess becoming a Olympic sport? surely not!
Might not be the most interesting sport to watch on TV but I suppose if darts is a sport why not Chess and why we’re at it lets add cross-country ballroom dancing
Next up to becoming sports should be playing computer games like Quake III and Counter-Strike after all these games are going professional.
Microsoft 20 years in the future? well why not its a dam funny story and some bit of it has a element of truth.
IBM have a interesting tribute page to 20 Years of the PC on there site, I especially like the part that says “if the automobile business had developed like the computer business, a Rolls-Royce would now cost $2.75 and run three million miles on a gallon of gas” if only
Ah what a crap day, loads of clouds and its pouring down.
But other then that things are fine, downloaded Netscape 6.1 yesterday and I gota say its light years ahead of 6.0. AOL made a big mistake releasing 6.0 they should have waited for the Mozilla team to bring out 1.0 first.
But even as bad as 6.0 was 6.1 is getting great reviews on download.com and other sites and finally I’m going to switch from Netscape 4.78, Yeahhhh!
Well I’ve had a fun day today,
Spend the day trying to gte my new Soundblaster Live 5.1 soundcard and my modem and network card to all work at the same time.
After much messing around in the bios and Windowz I switched the graphics card and WOOHOO my system is working once more, I even managed to get my Dxr3 Decoder card to work (haven’t been able to get it to work since I got my new system).
It turns out it was my dam ATI All-In-Wonder 128 card causing all the problems.
It was never a good graphics card, they haven’t even made decent Windows 2000 drivers for it yet.
Don’t think I’ll be buying ATI again…
Well for those people who watched Startrek Voyager last night and said “WHAT ARE THEY DOING!! KILLING THE BORG OFF” don’t go and say the Trek universe is ruined just yet, you got to remember the Borg queen was killed before.
Anyway, for those that visit this site cause of the nice wallpaper I use from time to time you might want to check out Mac Desktopsyes I know I run Win2k but there not all Mac related wallpapers.
Still waiting on my new Speakers and my new Soundcard to be delivered, hope they don’t come today as I won’t be at home to sign for the package.
Also something people might find this amusing (I know I did) 15 year old’s owning the net? again it shows how once again the media get things wrong and will continue doing so.

Going to miss my weekly dose of 7of9 and the rest of the crew.
There won’t be any good Sci-Fi shows on tv till Sky start airing Startrek Enterprise later this year or till they start airing the new season of Stargate SG-1.
